Air Rifle Competition Information
KSG - 2018 Air Gun Competitions
The 2018 KSG Air Gun competition schedule will start in March and provide competition shooting on most weekends. These will cater for both Rifle and Pistol shooters and will be accessible to all shooters regardless of experience.
2018 - 25-yard Bench Rest Competition
The 25-yard Bench Rest Competition takes place over 10 rounds beginning in May and finishing in November. If you wish to take part, please follow these simple steps:
I. Book in and pay your daily range fee (£5.00 Member/£I0.00 Non-Member) as normal in the Air Rifle shop.
Book in and pay for a target in the gun shop (£2.00) you must confirm at the time if you are shooting the at the target card with a pre-charged or a spring powered rifle.
Return your target to the gun shop once you have completed it.
The target must be shot on the day you booked in for the shoot and must be shot on a KSG range.
The targets can be shot on any of the KSG public ranges.
You may only shoot one target card per class (spring/pre-charged) per round.
You can use any Sub 12 ftllb Rifle to shoot the competition. When shooting you may only use an independent rest, bean bag etc. not a bipod and you may only have the front of rifle rested. There are sighters on the side of the targets and you may use these as required, but you may only fire one shot at each of the ten scoring roundels on the card.
2018 25-yard Bench rest programme
Round 1 - May 5th to May 20th
Round 2 - May 26th to June 10th
Round 3 - June 16th to July 1st
Round 4 - July 7th to July 21st
Round 5 - July 28th to August 12th
Round 6 - August 18th to September 2nd
Round 7 - September 8th to September 23th
Round 8 - September 29th to October 14th

2018 - 70 Yard Freestyle Bench Rest Competition
The 70 Yard Freestyle Bench Rest competition will take place each month over a weekend commencing on the first weekend of each month as shown below. If you wish to take part, please follow these steps:
I. Book in and pay your daily range fee (£5.00 Member/£I0.00 Non-Member) as normal in the Air Rifle shop.
2. Once your range fee is paid, go to the 70-yard range, to book in and pay for the competition card (£2.00). This must be done ideally by 9.50 AM on the morning of the competition.
You must state which class are shooting, Pre-Charged or Spring powered, and your card must be marked accordingly, you may shoot both classes.
The target must be completed and returned to the booking in point by 15.00 on the day of purchase or on a early closing day Sunday by14.30pm and must be shot on the 70-yard range at KSG.
You may only book in once per class over the weekend and only the card purchased on that day may be submitted.
You can use any Sub 12 ftllb Rifle to shoot the competition. When shooting you may use a bipod or an independent rest but only the front of the rifle may be rested.
A sighting card will be provided and you may fire at this as required, but you may only fire ten shots at the issued competition card.

KSG Airgun Leagues
The weekly competition dates are detailed below. You will have two days on which to compete, the Saturday and the Sunday, but you will only be able to submit your first score card for scoring and inclusion in the leagues.
If you wish to take part in the competition you must book in at the gun shop and pay your range fee as normal, you then go up to the top field and book in for the competition.
Each competition shoots costs £2.00 and this will go towards supporting our chosen charity and some prizes at the end of the year If you need any further information then ask at the Gun shop or see Rob Brown.
KSG Air Rifle and Air Pistol Leagues
The weekly competition dates are detailed below. If you wish to take part, then please follow these simple steps:
Book in and pay your daily range fee (£5.00 Member/£I0.00 Non-Member) as normal in the Air Rifle shop.
Once your range fee is paid, go to the top field, where booking in point will be set up, to book in and pay for the competition card £2.00). This must be done ideally by 9.50 AM on the morning of the competition and is essential if you wish to take part.
Attend the competition/range briefing at the booking in point, ideally around 10.00 AM on the morning of the competition. The briefing will tell you everything you need to know for the competition on that day and will also cover any safety points which need to be highlighted.
Once you have completed the competition, hand in you score card at the booking in point.
You can only shoot the competition once on any given weekend and you must submit the score card shot at that time for inclusion in the league scoring.
Rifles and pistols must fall within the legal limit.
Specific guidelines will be issued at the briefing prior to each shoot.
