We also have an 75 yard range for those who wnat to test their shooting skills. Again this range has a covered firing position. The 75 yard range is situated on our general shooting field which offers the shooter the ability to shoot in 'rough conditions' as well as to practice HFT style shooting. The top field/75 yard range are currently open Thur,Fri,Sat and Sun.

No booking is necessary for our ranges, shooters just sign the range book and pay their range fee in the Air Gun shop. (please note that by signing in for the ranges you are declaring that you are not prohibited from using a fire arm under Section 21 of the Fire Arms Act, a copy of which is avilable to view in reception)

New to Air Rifle Shooting

We understand that embarking upon a new hobby, or simply wishing to ‘have a go’ may often be a challenging prospect and it is important that you find the right place to do this.  We provide hour long taster lessons to give you the chance to try the sport without the need to bring anything other than yourself.  Our aim is to make your visit as easy and inviting as possible and our friendly and experienced team are on hand for you to try the sport in a safe, comfortable and controlled environment and to provide the best advice on what to do next. We can also provide follow on lessons to help you develop your shooting skills.

To arrange an introduction or a lesson, please feel free to call the shooting ground on 0116 279 6001 - option 3, or alternatively fill out the form on the contact page and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
